SUNU

Reiki

Reiki is a method of healing that is totally natural, focusing on balancing the energies within the human body. Reiki cannot make any claim to being a treatment for a particular ailment or disease, but its effects have been known to effectively compliment any traditional medical therapies that you may be receiving.

Practitioners of Reiki have studied the art of channelling healing

energy that abounds all around us, and this act of channelling is

given with an unconditional love and a desire to bring about an

improvement in the physical, mental and spiritual condition of the

person receiving it. Practitioners do not need to understand the
complexities of a specific disease because through their hands the

healing energy goes where it needs to go.

The human body is an incredibly complex thing, completely capable

of self-healing when given suitable conditions necessary for a healing

to take place. If your body can repair a cut to a finger without any

involvement on your part, other than cleaning and covering the wound, why not accept that your body, given these suitable conditions, can heal a problem on the inside?

These suitable conditions can be in the form of a calmed and receptive mind. They can be in the form of a balanced and obstruction-free system of energy pathways within your body. Reiki will in most cases bring about these conditions, allowing the body to get on with what it does best, regenerating damaged or diseased parts so that you have a better life.

Only a few years ago such practices were frowned upon by the medical fraternity, but now the doors of hospitals are being opened to therapists who 'work on the spiritual part' of our bodies.

This is a great step forward, because the ultimate goal is the good health and well-being of the patient. A positive thought in your mind is all it takes to begin a change within your body that may help to overcome a physical problem. Receiving Reiki at The Sunu Centre is a personal experience, conducted in privacy and tranquility. Don't hesitate to call if you need to know more.
